Library cum Resource Centre

Library has been furnished and stocked with latest collection of books & technology. The area is well furnished to provide perfect reading environment and the school is committed to ongoing investment in procuring books and digital technology such as Kindles and other e-book sources and resources. The library has been designed to provide the students with a quiet and purposeful atmosphere for study and intellectually creative thought.

Students would be using the library throughout the term and there are visits organised to the book fairs for the development of the best international school in Gurgaon library resources such as book requested, Kindles, newspapers and periodical publications and reference material. There are class libraries along with reading corner for young ones to encourage reading to support the educational aim of the school by making the library central and integral part to the independent learning processes within the school.

PSIS Library Aims At:

Helping students develop their research and study skills.

Enrich students’ curricular experiences by providing appropriate resources.

Knowledge of the curriculum enables staff to purchase relevant resources and provide an environment that is conducive and will encourage divergent and reflective study.

Provide an environment which encourages private reading.

Access to unlimited resources in hardcopy & e-resources gives students a sense of ‘ownership’ of their Library.

Suggestions by students for resources are always welcomed.

Note: Upgradation of resources & e-content is a regular feature to pace up with the demands of PSIS Family.
